Job Description
About Care Continuity Care Continuity is redefining patient navigation. We combine clinical expertise, AI-driven insights, and compassionate human support to ensure patients receive the care they need - when and where they need it. Our solutions empower health systems and providers to close care gaps, reduce readmissions, and drive ROI through smarter, more connected navigation.
Our work is transforming how care decisions are made - and we're just getting started.
About the Role As a Senior Analytics Engineer, you'll build and maintain the data foundation that powers our analytics and reporting ecosystem. You'll design robust data models, own the semantic layer that connects raw data to business insight, and ensure that metrics, relationships, and logic are consistent, reliable, and scalable across the company.
You'll work closely with product, analytics, and data engineering teams to translate business requirements into performant, governed data assets - enabling trusted insights and faster decision-making.
This is a hands‑on, high‑impact role for someone who thrives at the intersection of technical depth, data modeling strategy, and business context.
What You'll Do
Design and maintain data models and transformation logic that power analytics, dashboards, and reporting
Own the semantic layer, defining and managing shared datasets, measures, and relationships across products and functions
Partner with data engineers to ensure reliability, scalability, and performance of upstream pipelines
Collaborate with analysts, data scientists, and product managers to translate complex requirements into reusable, efficient data structures
Establish data modeling and transformation standards (naming conventions, testing, version control, CI / CD)
Create and maintain clear documentation of metrics, data definitions, and lineage
Monitor and tune Power BI and underlying datasets for performance optimization
Contribute to overall data governance and quality initiatives, ensuring consistency across teams and systems
Mentor analysts and cross‑functional partners in best practices for modeling, DAX, and data usage
Preferred Experience
5–8+ years of experience in analytics engineering, BI development, or data modeling
Deep expertise in Power BI (or similar BI tool), including dataset modeling, DAX, and performance optimization
Strong SQL and experience working with Databricks, Azure SQL, or equivalent cloud data platforms
Familiarity with dbt, Delta Live Tables, or similar transformation frameworks
Familiarity with Python for data transformations or automation
Strong understanding of semantic layer design, data governance, and metadata management
Experience collaborating across product, analytics, and engineering teams in a fast‑moving environment
Excellent communication and documentation skills – able to translate between technical and business audiences
Nice to Have
Experience with healthcare data formats (HL7, FHIR, CDA / CCD)
Understanding of healthcare ontologies (SNOMED, LOINC, CPT, ICD-10)
Salary & Benefits
Salary range: $120,000 – $150,000 annually, depending on experience and location
Comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, and 401(k)
Equity opportunities
Flexible PTO and fully remote work environment
