Amentum . Amentum is seeking Tactical Systems Technicians to join our team. You will be part of our growing systems, information technology & software engineering team and contribute to our diverse skillsets across multiple contracts in support of our Centers of Excellence. We are looking for individuals to join our team atmosphere that are eager to make a difference by solving complex Digital Engineering challenges. Apply your skills to the latest DoD weapons and sensor systems, modernizing the Navy and contributing to mission success. Successful candidates must possess excellent communication skills and interact directly with customers and engineering personnel. Contingent on contract award. Job duties include:
Managing Test Environments at various labs, including the Aegis Weapon System Baselines. System setup, configuration, testing, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance, as well as supporting facility users during test events. Documenting all work performed and ensuring compliance with security procedures. Minimum Qualifications and Skills:
Eight (8) years of general Naval tactical operations and maintenance experience, including training and simulation/stimulation systems, demonstrating established knowledge and subject matter expertise relevant to technical disciplines. Ability to work independently and in a team environment. Providing laboratory engineering, tactical and simulation systems operations support, tactical test support, hardware and computer program installations, lab test event support, preventive and corrective maintenance, and technical analysis. Ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret/SCI US Government Clearance. US Citizenship is required. Valid Real ID driver’s license for access to the customer site and reliable transportation.
