Overview
Quality Technician, Battery (Contract - 2nd shift) - 2nd shift Quality Technician on our battery assembly line. You will play a critical role in ensuring that our battery modules meet the highest standards of quality and reliability. This position requires a detail-oriented individual with a strong commitment to quality and continuous improvement. What You’ll Do
Inspection and Testing: Perform inspections and tests on battery modules or components to ensure they meet all quality standards and specifications. Data Collection and Analysis: Collect and analyze data from inspections and tests to identify trends, anomalies, and areas for improvement. Documentation: Maintain accurate and detailed records of inspection results, test data, and quality metrics. Non-Conformance Management: Identify and document non-conformances, and work with production and engineering teams to implement corrective actions. Training and Support: Provide training and support to production staff on quality standards, inspection techniques, and best practices. Compliance: Ensure all quality control activities comply with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements. Who You Are
Education: High school diploma or equivalent; an associate degree or technical certification in quality control, manufacturing technology, or a related field is preferred. Experience: Previous experience in quality control or quality assurance in a manufacturing environment, preferably in the automotive or battery industry. Technical Skills: Proficient in the use of inspection and testing equipment, such as calipers, micrometers, multimeters, and specialized battery testing tools. Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify root causes and implement effective solutions. Attention to Detail: High level of attention to detail and accuracy in performing inspections and documenting results. Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively convey quality-related information to team members and management. Teamwork: Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and contribute to a positive work culture. Flexibility: Willingness to adapt to changing priorities and work in a fast-paced start-up environment. Physical Requirements
Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks. Manual dexterity to handle small components and delicate inspection tools. Capacity to lift and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds. Hours
