Job Overview The Cybersecurity Analyst safeguards the organization’s systems, networks, and data against cyber threats. This role combines proactive monitoring, threat detection, vulnerability management, and incident response to ensure a resilient security posture. The analyst partners with technology and business teams to identify risks, implement security best practices, and support compliance with regulatory standards. Responsibilities Identify, prioritize, and work with owners to eliminate vulnerabilities across the organization. Perform proactive hunting for threats that may have escaped alerting systems. Advise on and test controls required by the current threat environment. Participate in abuse‑case building with software teams. Run internal and external vulnerability scans, SAST and DAST, creating actionable output with the findings. Act as ASV primary contact for PCI‑DSS audit. Skills and Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in information security or related discipline, or equivalent work experience within IT roles. 4+ years’ experience in cybersecurity. Hands‑on experience with Red Team TTP. Understanding of firewalls, proxies, SIEM, antivirus, and IDPS concepts. Ability to identify, exploit, and mitigate vulnerabilities and explain mitigation strategies. Experience with AWS and Azure security configurations. Experience in Windows enterprise environments. Willingness to commit to additional training on a regular basis. Strong technical and analytical skills. Offensive Security certifications (e.g., CEH, GPEN, OCSP).
