We are adding a highly skilled VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) 9 Engineer to join our IT Infrastructure Services team. This role is critical to the design, deployment, and lifecycle management of our hybrid cloud infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in VMware technologies and a passion for automation, scalability, and operational excellence. Key Responsibilities

Deployment & Configuration Deploy and configure VCF 9 components: ESXi, vCenter, NSX-T, vDefend, vSAN, and SDDC Manager. Automate provisioning and configuration using PowerCLI, APIs, and Aria Automation. Operations & Maintenance Monitor infrastructure health and performance; perform upgrades and patching. Troubleshoot issues across compute, storage, and networking layers. Security & Compliance Implement security best practices and ensure compliance with internal and external standards. Manage RBAC, audit logging, and secure integrations. Work cross-functionally with datacenter, platform, and application teams. Create and maintain detailed documentation and contribute to knowledge sharing. Develop and maintain runbooks and Best Practice documents. Collaborate with the Architect group to create scalable and resilient VCF 9 environments including workload domains, NSX-T, vSAN, vDefend, VLR, and SDDC Manager. Collaborate with enterprise architects to align infrastructure with business needs. Preferred Qualifications

Minimum 5 years of experience in VMware infrastructure engineering. Hands-on experience with VCF 4.x or later (VCF 9 preferred). Strong knowledge of NSX-T, vSAN, vSphere, and SDDC Manager. Experience with automation tools (PowerCLI, Ansible, Terraform). Familiarity with hybrid cloud platforms (VMware Cloud on AWS, Azure VMware Solution). Working knowledge of converged and hyper-converged infrastructure. VMware Certified Specialist – Cloud Foundation VMware Certified Advanced Professional – Network Virtualization (VCAP-NV) Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, related technical area, or the relevant combination of education and relevant experience A minimum of 5 years' experience with administration and support of technology systems Experience on project design and implementation of infrastructure systems Proficiency in Server Systems Administrator II functions In-depth technical knowledge of network and systems architectures and technologies Ability to develop innovative ideas for generating new approaches to solve problems Ability to gather technical requirements and translate into technology solutions Excellent client services and interpersonal skills Ability to communicate needs and new ideas with users and management Ability to write technology evaluations and make recommendations to management Ability to work with vendors to request service and work through defective product issues Self-starter able to handle multiple tasks and deadlines with minimal supervision Attitude and commitment to be an active participant of our employee-owned culture What We Believe
