What will be expected from you?

Identifies and communicates troubleshooting and diagnostic evaluations for causes of electrical equipment failure. Completes diagnostic activities in line with electrical safety practices, procedures, and protocols as specified in site Safety Procedures and by the National Electrical Code. Installs electrical equipment (motors, panels, lighting), diagnoses problems, consults blueprints/schematics/manuals, and uses hand and power tools to repair or install equipment. Executes routine Preventive Maintenance and repairs to ensure equipment reliability; completes Preventative Maintenance paperwork. Maintains a clean work area and performs housekeeping duties as needed. Performs other electrical duties as assigned and communicates electrical needs across the organization. Follows site protocols for documenting work and repair histories; participates in required training programs and maintains electrical credentials; completes computer-based training within specified timeframes. Regular presence in the workplace and ability to work extra hours or overtime to meet production objectives as needed. Collaborates with team members and assists others in achieving company goals; participates in Environmental, Health, & Safety initiatives and required training. Ideal Candidate Qualifications

Associate Degree in Electrical Technology or completion of an Electrician apprenticeship program required. 5 years of Journeyman Electrician experience in service or industrial environment required. State of Texas Journeyman Electrical License required. Ability to obtain Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC). Certificates of completed electrical training (must provide certificates). Proficiency with Internet, Email, and Microsoft Office; SAP proficiency preferred. Ability to climb and work at elevated heights; exposed to wet/humid conditions and near moving mechanical parts; exposed to fumes or airborne particles, chemicals, and electrical shock risks. Ability to read and interpret safety rules and maintenance manuals; familiarity with NFPA 70E electrical safety standards. Strong problem-solving, reasoning, and organizational skills; ability to document work and repair histories. Effective oral, written, and computer communication skills. What can we offer you?
