What you will be doing Under general direction from the Program Management Chief, this position leads and supervises the department’s region-focused Project Control teams (Southcoast, Northern, Central). This includes managing workflows, standardizing processes, and ensuring quality for the processing of all capital improvement projects, construction and non-construction projects, in accordance with all federal and state requirements in IRIS and in other database systems related to state and federal funding programs.

Working environment you can expect This position may be filled in either Anchorage, Fairbanks or Juneau. With supervisor approval, this position is available for in-state part-time teleworking.

Who we are looking for The ideal candidate will possess the following competencies:

Technical Credibility – Understands and appropriately apply principles, procedures, requirements, regulations, and policies related to specialized expertise.
Equivalent to those typically gained by any combination of post‑secondary education and progressively responsible professional level experience in accounting, budgeting, or financial management.
