The knowledge is key when it comes to modeling foreign threat radars, antennas, and communications systems. We're looking for a problem solver who can use their skills to help perform detailed analyses, including the evaluation of the detectability of airborne systems and survivability analysis of weapon systems and platforms to be deployed in future combat scenarios.
While working with a broad and experienced team, you'll perform modeling tasks, radar signal processing code development, and the refinement of ground system models in Fortran, C++, MATLAB, and Simulink. You'll directly impact the DoD's mission by helping determine what tactics, techniques, and procedures improve survivability and decrease vulnerability against foreign threat systems as well as helping make an informed decision for the acquisition of future systems.
Responsibilities and Qualifications
You have: Experience with coding in MATLAB, C, C++, FORTRAN, or Python Experience with modeling and simulation programs such as the Threat Modeling and Analysis Program (TMAP) radar modeling, Integrated Threat Analysis and Simulation Environments (ITASE), the Electric Warfare Integrated Reprogramming Database (EWIRDB), or Air Force Simulation (AFSIM) Experience with engineering and mathematics Secret clearance Bachelor's degree Nice if you have: Experience with Linux Experience with modeling and simulation tools Knowledge of radar principles for antenna, signal processing, and tracking filters Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills Master's degree Compensation and Benefits
