Job Description
The Trust & Estates Attorney will handle varied matters:
Draft and review estate plans, including wills, trusts, and related legal documents. Provide legal counsel on estate administration and probate matters. Advise clients on tax planning strategies related to trust and estate matters. Represent clients in court proceedings related to trusts and estates. Collaborate with financial advisers and other professionals to meet client needs. Stay up-to-date on changes in trust and estate laws to ensure compliance. Build and maintain strong client relationships through excellent communication and service. Mentor junior staff and share expertise within the department.

Candidates must be based locally in Long Island, New York/ Tri-State area, able to work from the Locust Valley, Long Island office 4-5 days per week, and have US work authorization now and indefinitely.

The Successful Applicant
The successful Trust & Estates Attorney should have:
A Juris Doctor (JD) degree and admission to New York tbar. Proficiency in trust and estate law, including drafting legal documents. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. Excellent verbal and written communication abilities. Able to handle highly personal matters with sensitivity and warmth. A client-focused approach with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
