Overview Under the supervision of the Director of Entertainment, the Entertainment Manager is responsible for all facets of the entertainment pipeline and process including the effective communication and organization of live events taking place at Hard Rock Live and other venues, contract administration, vendor registration, assists with marketing and promotions for live events, front of house operations, and managing the administrative needs of the department.

Responsibilities

Responsible for overall live entertainment and VIBE content taking place at Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Sacramento

In the absence of the Director of Entertainment, assumes all responsibilities of departmental operations that are not Production related.

Creates an atmosphere that induces guests to make Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Sacramento at Fire Mountain (HRHCSAC) their choice for gaming entertainment; responsible for actively building and retaining guest relations in order to provide superior guest service.

Provides extraordinary guest service, positively affects interactions with customers and team members, and has the resiliency to deal with difficult customers in all types of business conditions and the ability to work harmoniously with coworkers.

Maintains booking calendars, booking software, show reports, and tracking.

Reviews show contracts and riders for accuracy and signatures.

Works with Entertainment Management and Finance team to accurately process invoices, track orders, maintain reports, and accurately account for department expenses.

Organizes and is main point of contact for outsourced Usher/Ticket Taker/Event Security.

Organizes and facilitates meet and greets for casino guests and artist VIP packages.

Organizes and is main point of contact for Merch Vendors and Artist Sellers.

Serves as main of point of contact for property marketing team including distribution of assets, social media coverage, email campaigns, and show marketing plans.

Cultivates and maintains relationships with concert industry and community leaders.

Maintains and organizes memorabilia obtained from artists and performances on property.

Assists the Box Office Manager as needed including selling tickets.

Assists the Production Manager as needed.

Orders and maintains supplies for the department.

Ensures positive and creative team environment within the department.

Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Two (2) years of previous entertainment venue, show marketing, ticketing, and booking experience preferred.

High school diploma or GED required.

Associates or Bachelor’s degree in Entertainment, Business, Marketing, or related field preferred.

Previous experience selling tickets via Ticketmaster preferred.

Previous experience in a casino atmosphere is a plus.

Additional Requirements

Must obtain and maintain all licenses / certifications per Federal, State, and Gaming regulations.

Must successfully pass background check.

Must successfully pass drug screening.

Must be at least twenty-one (21) years of age.

Knowledge Of

Ability to read and comprehend industry periodicals, artist riders, detailed reports, memos, or letters.

Ability to perform public speaking.

Ability to read and understand all Hard Rock Hotel & Casino policies and procedures.

Must possess basic mathematical skills to include ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide specific to position responsibilities.

Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office, Excel, and Word is required.

Be flexible to work varying shifts and time schedules as needed.

Closing The Tribal Council gives first preference in all of its employment practices to members of the Enterprise Rancheria Tribe who meet the job requirements.
