Overview
Postdoctoral Scholar Research - Pediatrics role at University of South Florida. This position involves continued development of the ascidian model of development and immune maturation and expanding understanding of how environmental cues influence development, with translational opportunities alongside clinical faculty.
Responsibilities
The continued development of the ascidian model of development and immune maturation.
The expansion of our current understanding of how distinct environmental cues influence development and pursue translational opportunities with clinical faculty.
Serve as a mentor to trainees at all levels
Work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
Serve as a dependable and responsible member of a BSL-2 certified, basic, translational, and biomedical research laboratory.
Analyze data and prepare manuscripts for publication in peer-reviewed journals.
Present at local and international meetings.
Develop an instructional portfolio by serving as a guest lecturer when possible
Help to draft grant proposals for submission at the local, regional, and federal levels

Qualifications Doctoral degree
from an accredited institution and appropriate experience and training within a selected area of specialization. Must meet university criteria for appointment to the rank of Postdoctoral Fellow.
