Graduate Research Assistant – University of Georgia
Position Summary: The person needs experience in qualitative research, particularly in transcribing survey questionnaire questions that have been registered in video or audiotape in Spanish into an English document, at the same time helping with coding the responses in a spreadsheet for further analysis. This person has to be able to understand the Spanish from the rural areas of Latin America and to be sensitive to questions dealing with nature conservation and sustainability.
Key Responsibilities Transcribe Spanish video/audio survey questions into English documents.
Code responses in spreadsheets for analysis.
Qualifications
Experience in qualitative research with transcribing Spanish video/audio into English.
Knowledge of Spanish from rural Latin America regions.
Understanding of nature conservation and sustainability topics.
