We’ve already helped hundreds of merchants avoid the headache of building giant finance teams just to manage tax compliance. Tomorrow, we’re scaling that impact even further: building the automation layer that lets internet businesses stay nimble, compliant, and future-proof. About the role:

This is not your typical AE role. You’ll be one of our first Associate Account Executives, joining a high-performing team to drive pipeline growth and win deals in a fast-paced, early-stage environment. You’ll sell to e-commerce and fintech operators who are buried in compliance work - and you’ll show them a better way.

Responsibilities:

Own the full sales cycle from outbound to close, with a focus on mid-market e-commerce and SaaS companies

Manage a high-velocity deal pipeline with a 30-day sales cycle

Sell into Tier 1 and Tier 2 personas, including Founders, CEO’s, CFOs, CAOs, Controllers, and e-commerce operations leaders

Engage in consultative discovery and demo processes, tailoring tax compliance solutions to unique customer needs powered by Numeral’s platform

Partner closely with sales leadership, product, and solutions engineering to evolve sales strategies and improve win rates

Represent Numeral at industry events, conferences, and customer sessions (virtual or in-person)

Qualifications:

2+ years of Sales Tax Compliance or SaaS sales experience with a consistent track record of meeting or exceeding quota

Strong discovery and consultative selling skills with a bias toward action and autonomy

Experience selling to finance, accounting, or operations stakeholders (especially in fintech, tax, ERP, or compliance SaaS)

High Coachability, extremely self-drive, and a growth mindset

Clear, persuasive communication skills - written and verbal

Comfort navigating ambiguity in fast-paced, high-growth environments

Bonus Points For:

Experience in sales tax, taxtech, fintech, or e-commerce tools

Exposure with MEDDICC and Sales Methodologies

Familiarity with Salesforce, Gong, Nooks, or other modern sales tooling
