Counter Sales
associate, you will be the "face of the retail store" and the go-to person for customers seeking automotive parts and advice. Prior automotive repair experience is not required, but a background in automotive parts knowledge is essential. What you will be doing: Assist retail and wholesale customers with auto parts questions in person and over the phone. Support team members by sharing your parts knowledge. Provide excellent customer service and create a positive shopping experience. Bring energy and customer focus to our fast-paced stores. Engage with customers to ensure a welcoming environment. Utilize technology including computers, cash registers, and catalogs. This opportunity is ideal if you: Enjoy helping customers with auto parts and services. Have automotive experience through work or personal tinkering. Are eager to learn about automotive parts and industry. Seek growth and career development within a supportive team. Requirements: Valid Driver’s License. Experience in automotive or parts industry, or willingness to learn. High School Diploma or GED; technical courses a plus. Excellent communication skills. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced retail environment. Strong listening skills and empathy for customers. Additional preferred qualifications: Passion for automotive, heavy equipment, marine, farm, or dealership industries. Experience in retail, auto body, or collision parts stores. Knowledge of inventory and catalog systems. Customer-centric mindset. ASE Certifications are a plus but not required. Benefits: Great team and brand environment. Competitive salary.
