NOVA Engineering is seeking a

Senior CMT Engineering Technician (Special Inspector)

in

Charlotte, NC . Responsibilities

Perform structural inspections for rebar, masonry, post-tensioning, and foundations. Conduct field materials testing of soil, concrete, and asphalt. Prepare detailed field reports with test results and observations. Perform laboratory tests on soil and concrete, and report results. Evaluate site and subgrade conditions, providing recommendations. Communicate with clients, contractors, and staff regarding construction issues. Qualifications

ICC Reinforced Concrete and/or Structural Masonry certification required. ACI Level I Concrete Field Testing certification preferred. Post-Tensioning Level I certification highly preferred. Ability to interpret plans, specifications, and safety rules. Proficient in basic mathematical calculations for field and lab tests. Must be able to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 70 pounds. Valid, clean driver’s license required for site travel. Perks and Benefits
