Posting Summary Rutgers School of Health Professions seeks a Temporary Research Assistant for the Department of Health Informatics. The role involves supporting faculty with research activities such as participant recruitment, screening, enrollment, protocol development, data collection, record keeping, statistical analysis, data coding, presentation, and manuscript preparation. Key duties include:
Assisting with protocol initiation and development with the PI and study team.
Supporting eIRB initiation processes.
Recruiting, managing, and monitoring human subjects.
Collecting and managing data (interviews, surveys, experiments).
Supporting grant-related research activities.
Assisting with data cleaning, analysis, and interpretation.
Using RedCap/Qualtrics for data collection.
Preparing presentations and manuscripts.
Performing other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications
Minimum Education and Experience
Research experience or strong interest in behavioral, epidemiological, and/or health services research is required. Certifications/Licenses Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Proficiency with statistical software such as SPSS, SAS, R, Python, etc.
Computer literacy with Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint.
Preferred Qualifications Bilingual in English/Spanish preferred.
Experience with social network analysis, text analysis, or computational analysis is a plus.
Special Conditions Availability for some evening/weekend data collection.
Attending research meetings in person or via video.
Willing to recruit participants from local fairs and gatherings.
