Position Description: Kentontown Christian Church seeks a preaching minister willing to travel weekly for worship services. We have 60-80 attendees, programs for children and teens, and a youth director. We are an independent Christian Church with a board of Elders and Deacons. Our only creed is the bible. Our services include Sunday School, Worship, Children’s church, and Sunday evening Bible study. We are currently constructing a new fellowship building for meals, activities, and celebrations. Kentontown, in Robertson County, is known for its church, which has a dedicated group of believers committed to each other, its community, missionary support, and reaching the lost. We seek a spiritually mature man who reflects Christ’s character and is committed to growing God’s church. His preaching should be clear and unwavering in scriptural truth. Qualifications: Born-again, baptized believer who loves the Lord and His people willing to reach the lost, disciple new believers, and support the congregation in all aspects of their faith in Jesus Christ. A graduate of a Church of Christ/Christian Church-supported college or university would be a plus but not required. Job Type: Full-time or part-time depending on candidate. Pay: Pay will include a salary based on experience, travel allowance, and two weeks’ paid vacation. No housing is available; our parsonage was recently sold.
