Primary Purpose

The Halmos College of Arts and Sciences and Guy Harvey Oceanographic Research Center

(HCAS) of Nova Southeastern University (NSU) is seeking adjunct faculty to teach for NSU.

Teaching opportunities are available at our Main Campus, Oceanographic Campus, Regional Campuses, and Online.

Essential Job Functions

Conduct the assigned courses in a professional manner and being on time. Communicate with students and supervisor in a professional and timely manner. Report all grades, progress reports, etc. in a timely manner and in the format required by the university. Communicate with students the outcomes of their assessments and final grades. Provide copies of student work and grades to the supervisor when requested. Complete syllabi before required deadlines.

Required Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

Advanced degree (master's degree or beyond) in the discipline (biology).

Required Certifications/Licensures

Required Education:

Master's Degree

Major (if required:

Biology

Required Experience:

Knowledge of the subject of biology.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience conducting classes in the field of biology.
