Four Seasons Hotel and Residences New Orleans is seeking candidates to join our Banquets team as a Banquet Captain. In this role, candidates will supervise and oversee the service of the banquet functions as assigned by the Banquet Manager.

Lead the Banquets team in ensuring accurate set-up of all events spaces as well as lead the team during service to ensure the guest experience meets Four Seasons\' standards Participate in the service and removal of food during banquet functions by offering pre-determined menu selections to each table; maintain knowledge of each selection’s origin, taste, and preparation method; communicate guest orders including any special needs or requests to the kitchen; check completed kitchen orders with the guest’s original order; transport items to the guest table in a timely manner to ensure proper food quality and make self available to guests, clients, and group contacts to ensure satisfaction Train, motivate, recommend discipline, and supervise the work of food servers ensuring that all cultural and core standards are met Assist with administrative duties including closing banquet checks and preparing supply requisitions What You Bring
Requires a working knowledge of banquet service, preferably in a luxury hotel setting Knowledge of Four Seasons' cultural and core standards is preferred Working knowledge is generally learned on-the-job Requires ability to operate computer equipment and other food & beverage computer systems Requires strong written and verbal skills Ability to read and speak English Must have ServSafe and Responsible Vendor certifications Must have authorization to work in the United States What We Offer
