Responsibilities
Responsible for the continued development of the utility scale storage opportunity pipeline within a designated sales area
Work with Marketing and Sales Engineers to qualify efficiently business opportunities
Manage and negotiate contracts with customers
Originate and close a targeted number of commercial sales opportunities per quarter
Rapidly evaluate market dynamics across sectors (utility, large industrial) and drivers (policy/regulatory, economics, etc.)
Identify and qualify market partners creating strong relationships with those partners
Perform techno-economic analysis of opportunities and associated risks
Understand, define and disseminate functional requirements from the market, coordinating with internal Trina team members
Provide regular forecast updates
Provide reporting to management as and when required
Requirements
5+ years of experience in the utility scale energy sector
Working experience in the renewable sector
Knowledge of grid/utility markets, as well as renewable technologies, such as PV, wind and/or storage
Familiar with battery systems and/or power conversion systems
Ability to create and understand financial modelling
Understanding of the effects of regulatory and policy changes on the business
Excellent communication skills
Ability to priorities work and execute many projects and tasks in parallel
Engineering Degree preferred
Fluent in English and Greek, additional European language is a plus
