Overview

Job Title: Solar Sales. Are you ambitious and self-driven? Do you want a successful career with significant uncapped earning potential while helping to create a greener planet? This role focuses on educating customers about solar panel and clean energy systems and retaining clients for ongoing service. The candidate must be highly self-motivated and determined to engage with homeowners in person and by phone, building strong relationships and driving sales. Knowledge of the solar industry or prior solar sales experience is recommended but not required, as thorough training is provided with potential earnings of $100k+. A Sales Representative uses knowledge of company products and services to connect with customers and generate sales, while staying highly motivated and self-driven. Responsibilities

Manage a territory for the company with a population of around 10,000 people. Become an expert in renewable energy and smart home products and their benefits to the consumer. Help families save money through a consumer-focused sales approach. Close contracts confidently with new homes and families while gaining outside business development experience. Make cold calls to sales leads or take calls from prospective customers. Build relationships with customers by introducing them to solar products. Answer questions about the product and meet customer needs. Conduct business-to-consumer outside and virtual sales consulting and full-circle project management. Prepare for appointments by building proposals, presentations, and energy audits. Deliver effective, educational client-specific presentations that create a positive appointment experience. Meet or exceed monthly sales appointment and revenue goals. Maintain Leads, Opportunities, and all inter-departmental communications using CRM; update notes on all client appointments. Confidently discuss options and close contracts; provide customer service and generate referral sales. Identify prospective customers to build a sales pipeline. Complete and submit all necessary paperwork for each project. Participate in company events to prospect and generate sales; attend training and meetings; network to build a client base. Represent Pro Solar’s brand; stay educated on the latest solar energy products, technologies, and financing options. Other tasks as assigned. Requirements

Bilingual (Spanish) preferred. Excellent customer service skills. Sales experience is a must. Solar sales or relevant outside sales experience is preferred, but training is available for the right candidate. Enthusiastic representation of the company and products. Ability to present information persuasively. Competitive in nature and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation; willingness to drive to client locations (residential and commercial). Availability of six days a week, including nights and weekends; some on-call availability. Education and Experience

High school diploma or equivalent. At least 2 years related experience. Physical Requirements

Prolonged periods of standing and being on feet. Prolonged periods of driving. Must be able to lift up to 15 lbs. Benefits

Compensation & Benefits: It starts with immense earning potential. The average annual compensation of a first-year sales representative is $90,000 - $140,000, but for top performers the earning potential is dramatically higher. Includes bonus and commission.
