District Sales Manager

to develop strategic contacts and execute growth strategies for the

(New Mexico, Arizona, Nevada, California, Hawaii, and Guam)

region. The role leads and manages all resources within designated districts for customers and tracks performance for all territories, driving the sales strategy for the region and coordinating cross-functional work within the geographical scope. Location: Remote role. Travel expectations: up to 65-75% regionally. Responsibilities

Lead and manage all resources in the district, ensuring proper coverage of customers in select markets Track performance for all territories, set quarterly goals and activities for each territory, and track execution Deploy pricing strategies to maximize margins and drive performance Input to Region budget process Develop strategic contacts with key personnel at select end-customer accounts and engineering firms Participate in weekly pricing calls and monthly staff meetings Set goals for Manufacturer Reps and distribution partners and track performance using a scorecard Create a motivational team environment to deliver the district’s financial results Establish an operating rhythm in the district to ensure timely and concise communication with all channels Train, lead, coach direct reports; conduct performance reviews and succession planning Follow company policies, ethics and compliance guidelines You will set the tone in creating a motivational team environment through training, leading, and coaching direct reports, and by conducting performance reviews and succession planning. You must lead by example, participate in pricing calls and staff meetings, and track performance using a scorecard. Technical Requirements

3-5 years of experience in telecom/datacom/power utility industry, outside plant construction, HDPE, fiber optics, technical field 3-5 years of Inside/Outside hands-on sales experience Proficiency in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Outlook) Ability to design and execute reports and presentations Ability to interpret technical information and translate into common terminology Experience with Salesforce or CRM tools for account planning, project tracking, and forecasting Preferred Skills

Stay abreast of market and industry trends, provide feedback on competition and pricing levels, and identify products or solutions to expand the portfolio Team-oriented with ability to implement process improvements; capable of working independently and managing multiple tasks Proven leadership experience (at least 3 years in a management role) Budget accountability, budget development, forecasting, and performance tracking for all territories Plan and execute customer meetings, events, tradeshows, and related activities Manage daily/monthly/annual sales activities including quotes, RFQ/RFP, pricing, customer presentations, lead creation, and client visits Coordinate market approach with in-place sales agents Develop and execute regional strategies; collaborate with all district resources Compensation and Benefits

“The compensation for this position will typically range from $142,000 - $230,000.
