Overview
The Seasonal Associate role is a part-time position at ALO in Georgetown, focused on achieving store sales and operational goals while delivering an authentic guest experience both front and back of house.
Responsibilities
Impacts the business and store environment in a positive manner that aligns with store goals and ALO’s guiding principles.
Drive and exceed sales targets by utilizing ALO’s Flow initiatives to optimize productivity and efficiency.
Provide a friendly greet and proactively approach customers to understand their needs and support customer engagement.
Process customer transactions and returns in accordance with policy and procedures.
Maintain knowledge of store goals, initiatives, new products, and guest-facing initiatives; educate on initiatives on the floor.
Leverage company tools, incentives, and strategies to support meeting store goals.
Resolve client needs quickly and effectively to ensure customer satisfaction.
Assist in processing shipments in a timely manner.
Support replenishment on the sales floor in a timely manner.
Ensure front and back of house procedures are executed in accordance with company policy.
Remain in constant movement around the store; when not assisting guests, take initiative to perform other tasks to keep the store clean, safe, inviting, and operating efficiently.
Qualifications
Preferred 1+ years of prior work experience in a client-centric, sales environment.
Passion for customer service and delivering exceptional experiences.
Aligns with and embodies ALO’s guiding principles.
Requires constant movement in and around all areas of the store.
Ability to lift, push, carry or move up to 50 pounds.
Ability to lift, bend, kneel, climb, crawl and/or twist, and safely climb up/down a ladder.
Ability to stand and move for an entire shift.
Schedule Seasonal, Part-Time non-exempt associates are expected to work up to 20 hours per week, based on the needs of the business, with a shift minimum of 4 hours. All employees are expected to be able to work during the company’s blackout period, from the week of American Thanksgiving through the end of the holiday season (January 14).

Compensation The Seasonal Associate base pay is $18.00 per hour in Washington, DC. Associates are eligible to participate in the company’s Monthly Store Incentive bonus program, which may increase total compensation. Other rewards may include: clothing allowance, employee discount, and ALO Moves.
