At Natuzzi Editions, the Sales Manager plays a pivotal role in driving store performance, leading a team of sales professionals, and delivering an elevated client journey. This role is responsible for achieving individual and store sales targets, developing the team’s potential, and creating an exceptional in-store experience that reflects the brand’s Italian heritage and design leadership.
The ideal candidate is a hands-on sales leader with a passion for coaching, a strong sense of ownership, and a proactive approach to increasing traffic both inside and outside the showroom. You bring energy, accountability, and a performance mindset every day.
Core Responsibilities
Sales Performance & Business Growth Own and exceed sales and profitability targets with full accountability for store KPIs and P&L performance. Develop and implement action plans to meet daily, weekly, and monthly sales objectives. Analyze selling reports, client behaviors, and market conditions to adjust strategies and maximize results. Maintain a relentless focus on quote follow-up, conversion, average ticket, and client outreach. Client Journey & Brand Ambassadorship Deliver a luxury client experience at every touchpoint, including post-sale care and long-term relationship building. Act as a Natuzzi brand ambassador, with deep product knowledge and the ability to passionately convey brand history, craftsmanship, and Italian design principles. Actively engage with clients on the floor and through outbound efforts to drive new business and traffic. Coach and mentor a high-performing sales team with daily direction, training, and development support. Build a culture of curiosity, empathy, accountability, and excellence. Lead productive one-on-one coaching sessions and team huddles to elevate individual and collective results. Recruit and onboard top-tier sales talent with a passion for luxury design and customer service. Operational Excellence Ensure all operational tasks and policies are followed, including POS, order lifecycle, issue resolution, and showroom readiness. Monitor and control store expenses, reduce shrink, and uphold inventory accuracy. Partner with the Retail Operations Coordinator to ensure store compliance and operational efficiency. Maintain showroom presentation to reflect Natuzzi’s merchandising directives and brand image. Ensure all vignettes and product displays are executed to the highest standard, reinforcing design storytelling. Demonstrate complete fluency in product features, configurations, and customization options. Qualifications & Requirements
Proven ability to lead teams to exceed sales targets while providing an outstanding client experience. Entrepreneurial mindset with a track record of building business beyond the showroom floor. Excellent interpersonal, coaching, and communication skills. Proficient in CRM, POS systems, and Microsoft Office; design software experience a plus. Deep appreciation for Italian design, luxury craftsmanship, and high-touch service. What We Offer
