North Carolina & Virginia Fleet Sales Manager
Yamaha has an excellent opportunity for a
North Carolina & Virginia Fleet Sales Manager
to join our
Golf Car
team in a
field position . The North Carolina & Virginia Fleet Sales Manager will be responsible for both the NORTH CAROLINA & VIRGINIA territories. This role drives sales efforts and fosters relationships with golf facilities across the region. The successful candidate will represent Yamaha at local PGA section events and educational seminars to ensure a strong presence and engagement within the golfing community.
What you’ll be doing:
Efficiently schedule, coordinate and work with key decision makers at both current Yamaha accounts, as well as competitive accounts, to continue to grow Yamaha’s market share and improve customer satisfaction.
Develop and maintain current Yamaha business, target and close new fleet business opportunities.
Manage the entire sales process from initial lead generation through the sales presentation and demonstration of the car, composition of the proposal, guidance through leasing approval, and delivery/setup of the new fleet.
Participate in local PGA Section events, seminars, etc., to help further expose the Yamaha brand.
Provide reports as needed, manage databases, records, and goals.
Build and maintain relationships with customers to provide a high level of service.
What you’ll need to be successful:
High school diploma or GED equivalent. College degree is preferred but not necessary.
3+ years of prior sales or sales management experience.
Proficient computer skills with basic knowledge of MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc).
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Must be able to obtain and maintain company issued credit cards for travel expenses.
Must be able to travel 60-70% of the time.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Experience with the golf industry or PGA professionals preferred.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Must be able to load golf cars, climb up and down small objects and lift a moderate amount.
