Retail Scan Associate (Ponca City, OK 74601)
ScanScape is hiring part-time Retail Scan Associates to visit a designated selection of stores each week, scanning all product barcodes on displays and in aisle locations (including aisle end caps). The data collected is analyzed to improve sales performance for the product and retailer.
This is a permanent PART-TIME role. Responsibilities include visiting stores weekly to scan barcodes, recording required data, and completing assigned scanning tasks. The role may involve working with grocery, convenience, drug, pet, and mass merchandise retailers and collaborating with national chains as well as small independents. You will use a mobile app to scan barcodes in various store locations and may be asked to provide quantity for a portion of scanned products. Typical weekly expectations:
approximately 4-6 hours total for all stores, depending on store size and project requirements. You will complete Display Scanning across the store weekly, with potential for additional Custom Projects that add 30 minutes to 2 hours in some weeks. Work schedule and locations

We hire part-time Retail Scan Associates to perform in-store data collection at local retailers every week for 52 weeks a year. Store types include grocery, convenience, drug, pet, and mass merchandise. We work with major brand retailers like Walmart, Kroger, Target, Albertsons, and other chains as well as smaller independents. You will use a downloadable mobile app to scan barcodes throughout the store. Qualifications At least 18 years old with a valid driver’s license Reliable vehicle with minimum state auto insurance Ability to stand for long periods and access products throughout the store Ability to lift up to 25 pounds, reach up to 6 feet, and bend/stoop/stand Ability to perform repetitive movements with hands, wrists, arms, and legs Attention to detail and ability to work independently Deadline-driven self-starter Reliability with access to Wi-Fi Tech-savvy High school diploma or GED (preferred) Note: The anticipated application deadline is 09/26/2025.
