Position Summary The Senior Account Consultant will proactively engage potential and existing customers face-to-face, developing relationships with end-users and property/facility managers to develop appropriate sales strategies. The role involves learning Southland Industries' business and articulating this to the industry and customers. This position specifically focuses on selling Fire Protection services in the Phoenix marketplace.
Job Responsibilities
Identify and qualify prospects and clients to pursue, meeting or exceeding sales goals.
Develop a business plan to illustrate market growth actions and development.
Meet with prospective clients to develop needs and sell services such as automation system retrofits, building commissioning, and service contracts.
Manage calendar to plan customer visits (8-10 per week), maintain a sales funnel, and provide accurate sales forecasts.
Engage with construction teams during project phases to promote maintenance of automation systems.
Assist clients in building project scopes and service contracts, promoting Southland Industries' capabilities.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or five years related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Professional sales training preferred.
Significant experience in automation systems and proposal development.
Strong people skills and successful sales experience, including cold calling.
Ability to read and interpret technical and business documents.
Self-motivated and disciplined to manage time and sales results.
Experience managing large accounts and maintaining client relationships.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
Effective collaboration and problem-solving skills.
