Overview

Covering Western Michigan, the region management role is responsible for developing and maintaining mutually beneficial relationships with the company’s dealers, dealer sales force, direct accounts, and end users. The incumbent will strive to achieve all annual sales and performance goals and will report to the Regional Sales Director to accomplish the region’s annual business plan. Essential Duties And Responsibilities

Report a monthly itinerary to the Regional Sales Director Report all significant activity in the region to the Regional Sales Director in a timely and accurate manner as it relates to ongoing product performance, sales strategy development, dealer issues, Customer Service, Technical Service, and related areas Perform quarterly business reviews with dealers Provide weekly sales forecasts Resolve sales issues, product service issues, equipment-related issues, and dealer problems in a timely and effective manner Travel within the sales region according to an established zone travel schedule to maintain, develop, and grow all facets of the business with customers (dealers, national accounts, and end-users) Direct and participate in developing, motivating, and training the dealer sales force to effectively sell Advance, Clarke, and Viper Commercial equipment Call on and develop existing and prospective dealers within the region Maintain a dealer prospect list and coordinate sales calls with the Regional Sales Director to develop new business opportunities Education and Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or equivalent education A minimum of 5 years sales experience in the sanitary supply industry or related field, with emphasis on dealer channel management and end-user sales/account management Knowledge & Personal Attributes

Strong work ethic and initiative in problem solving and action plan implementation Professional maturity and business acumen suitable for this position Strong selling skills and end-user account management abilities Excellent written and verbal communication skills Proficiency in MC Office Suite (including Excel pivot tables), PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, and Salesforce.com Effective time and territory management skills Solid problem-solving skills with the ability to perform gap analyses and develop and implement corrective actions Willingness to travel overnight as required Ability to transport company products for demonstrations Capability to conduct product seminars and presentations Ability to pass a physical examination including lifting and prolonged standing Compensation and Benefits

Salary range: $73,700.00-$98,300.00. The position also provides a bonus structure, company vehicle, company phone, and gas card. Benefits include health, dental, vision, life, disability, 401(k) with company match, and other voluntary programs. The final pay may vary based on qualifications, experience, and location.
