We invite qualified individuals to join our team as an Account Executive to drive sales growth and manage customer relationships across the New York and Connecticut territories.
Duties
Serve as the primary point‑of‑contact for Econolite and key clients.
Review RFPs, RFIs and other technical requests.
Generate proposals, presentations and training materials.
Develop and execute market‑specific sales strategies.
Act as a project‑management resource within the region.
Analyze plans and schematics to recommend solutions.
Conduct product presentations to engineers and technical teams.
Collaborate with sales personnel and distributors on technical evaluations.
Ensure system compliance before bids.
Represent Econolite professionally in all customer interactions.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Civil Engineering or equivalent experience in Engineering or Account Management.
5+ years of engineering or account‑management experience.
Strong self‑starter with integrity and excellent work ethics.
Ability to travel to multiple customer sites daily; personal vehicle required.
Effective in team and independent settings.
Experience in the traffic industry and connected‑vehicle technologies preferred.
Professional Engineering (PE) certification is a plus.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Compensation Base salary range $90,000 – $105,000 per year plus incentive and benefits. Salary determined by role, experience, and location.
Business Travel Regular business travel is required to meet customers, typically about 25% of work time. Additional travel to conferences and company meetings may be required.
