Overview
The Water Equity Lab at Arizona State University is seeking two Postdoctoral Research Scholars to establish a collaborative initiative on U.S. drinking water and wastewater access. Two postdocs will join a multidisciplinary team from the National Center for Atmospheric Research (NCAR) and ASU. This team will examine how climate and governance shape access to adequate water and wastewater services across the country. Regional econometric modeling will examine the effectiveness of state, county, and local policies; findings can identify practices that enable the resilience of centralized and decentralized systems under future climate conditions. Engage in collaborative research on U.S. drinking water and wastewater access with ASU and NCAR teams. Conduct regional econometric modeling to evaluate the effectiveness of state, county, and local policies. Contribute to analyses of how climate and governance influence water service resilience for centralized and decentralized systems under future climate scenarios. Qualifications
Experience in econometric modeling and policy analysis (regional focus preferred). Strong ability to work in a multidisciplinary research environment. PhD in a relevant field or an equivalent research track record (postdoctoral appointment). Employment details
