The Remodel Manager serves as the primary advisor and project lead for franchisees undertaking restaurant remodels and reimages. This role ensures that projects align with brand standards, meet construction quality expectations, and minimize disruption to operations. Acting as both consultant and project manager, the Remodel Manager partners with franchise owners, contractors, architects, and internal teams to deliver remodels on time and within budget. Responsibilities

Advise franchisees during the remodel process, starting at site assessment and feasibility review. Guide franchisees in selecting qualified architects, engineers, and contractors that meet brand requirements. Lead planning and preconstruction meetings with franchisees and their project teams. Review and approve remodel scopes, schedules, and budgets to ensure alignment with brand standards. Conduct site visits to monitor construction progress, quality, and compliance with brand image standards. Provide ongoing communication and support to franchisees, addressing construction issues and recommending solutions. Coordinate with internal brand teams (design, operations, and development) to ensure projects stay on track. Oversee project close-out, including final inspections, certification of reimage completion, and handoff back to operations. Track franchisee remodel activity across assigned markets and provide regular updates to leadership. Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in construction management, Architecture, Engineering, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience). 5+ years of construction or remodel project management experience, ideally in restaurants or retail. Strong knowledge of building codes, permitting processes, and remodel best practices. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple franchise-driven projects at once. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence without direct authority. Proficiency with project management software, construction documentation, and Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to travel frequently to franchisee sites. Highly self-motivated and proactive, with a strong ability to identify priorities and maintain productivity without requiring daily oversight. Experienced in supporting franchises with varying levels of construction sophistication, demonstrating patience, clarity and adaptability in communication. Skilled at breaking down complex or seemingly intuitive processes into actionable steps. Preferred Skills

Experience working within a franchise organization or supporting franchisee projects. Knowledge of restaurant-specific construction needs (kitchen layouts, MEP requirements, dining room finishes). Proven success guiding independent business owners through remodels while protecting brand standards. Employment Details
