Freedom Boat Club – Dock Master at Boynton Beach Harbor Marina, FL. This is a part-time role within Brunswick Corporation. The Dock Master greets members, assists on the docks, and supports club operations. Availability is required on weekdays, weekends, and holidays. The position involves working outdoors and near the water. Responsibilities
Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards Anticipate and address guests’ service needs Thank guests with genuine appreciation Make and answer telephone calls using appropriate etiquette Manage the check-in and check-out process using a handheld tablet Perform equipment checks to ensure all necessary equipment is on board Clean and maintain vessels and Club location according to company standards Prepare reservation logs, fuel logs and weather reports Familiarize yourself with local waters to provide basic guidance to members Communicate clearly and professionally Maintain a clean and professional uniform/personal appearance Follow all company policies and procedures Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information Perform other reasonable duties as requested by supervisors Required Qualifications
Pass a background check and drug screen Valid driver’s license and good driving record High school diploma At least 18 years of age Strong communication and customer service skills Ability to stay calm during periods of high activity Ability to read and operate handheld tablets Positive, cooperative attitude with the capability of working unsupervised Adhere to all safety policies Preferred Qualifications
Experience in or around boats Working Conditions
Work outdoors in various elements and stand for extended periods Physical activity including bending, kneeling, balancing and carrying equipment up to 25 pounds Work in a marina setting on fixed or floating docks Work near and on the water Safely move on, off and within vessels during varying tide and weather conditions Compensation and Benefits
