Security Officer – Armed

Minimum Requirements Possess a current Armed Guard Card or License. Have at least 6 months of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience. Hold a Level III Armed Certification if required by Texas state law. Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. Background investigation in accordance with federal, state, and local laws. Consideration of applicants with criminal histories consistent with applicable laws. Drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Participation in industry-specific security-related training programs. Licensing requirements subject to state and/or local laws and regulations, may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.
What You’ll Do Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites. Support operations across commercial real estate, healthcare, and education. Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams. Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service. Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise.
Responsibilities Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner. Conduct regular and random armed patrols to deter unauthorized activity and suspicious behavior. Monitor access points and verify credentials of individuals entering restricted areas. Observe and report any unusual activity, property damage, or hazards. Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency responders during incidents. Complete detailed and accurate reports on incidents, patrols, and observations as required by Allied Universal and client site protocols.
