Overview
The Varsity Tutors Live Learning Platform connects online Elementary Math tutors with students nationwide. As a tutor on the Varsity Tutors Platform, you’ll have the flexibility to set your own schedule, earn competitive rates, and work from home. Base Pay and Invoicing
Base pay range: $18.00/hr - $40.00/hr. Base contract rates start at $18/hour and increase for specialized subjects. You’ll earn up to $40/hour for sessions with the same student. You can be paid up to twice per week for tutoring sessions you conduct and invoice. Responsibilities
Tutor remotely using the Live Learning Platform and provide online elementary math instruction. Match with students best suited to your teaching style and expertise. Deliver personalized lessons and adapt to different learning styles. Invoice for tutoring sessions and manage own schedule. Use AI-supported tools (Tutor Copilot) to enhance sessions and save prep time. What We Look For In a Tutor
Strong communication skills and a friendly, engaging teaching style. Expertise in Elementary Math and the ability to explain concepts clearly. Ability to personalize lessons and adapt to different learning styles. Priority given to those with tutoring or teaching experience, and graduate-level education. Ways To Connect With Students
