Position Overview
This position responds to water losses, sewer backups, and mold remediation. It also includes various construction tasks and demolition. Technicians in this department respond to Emergency Services day and night and train new laborers. We are looking to obtain career-minded individuals with a desire to learn all facets of this department. Puroclean of Rancho Cucamonga deeply appreciates the level of commitment required for this position. The starting pay for Uncertified Techs is $20.00 per hour and the starting pay for Certified Techs is $22.00-$26.00 per hour.

Requirements
Minimum one year of experience required
Experience using Mitigate is required
IICRC WRT Certification is required
On-call required per the department's on-call schedule – nights, weekends, and holidays
Maintains a satisfactory or insurable driving record and holds a valid driver’s license
Ability to pass a satisfactory background screening on a biennial basis
Must live within the office's service area (ZIPs listed in the original description)
Wearing PPE properly is essential
Willingness to obtain additional IICRC Certifications to grow with the company
Ability to pass a pre-employment physical, drug screening, and physical
Duties and responsibilities
Communicate with adjusters and TPAs for approvals and job updates
Write sketches and determine the scope of work
Utilize industry platforms (e.g., Mica, Dash, Xactware)
Train new employees on all facets of the production process using the crawl, walk, run method
Perform on-site production services including water extraction, demolition, and mold remediation
Place proper equipment and quantities to maximize drying effectiveness; take moisture readings
Complete necessary paperwork and photos for each job
Use smartphones, tablets, etc., effectively
Interact with customers professionally and courteously
Maintain functionality and service of equipment
Comply with company policies and safety regulations
Qualifications and Skills
Technically competent to learn industry-specific programs
Effective communication skills
Ability to adapt to changing situations
Familiar with basic hand tools
