Whitworth University invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor of Animal Physiology in the Biology Department. The successful candidate will have a strong background in animal physiology and will teach general biology, animal physiology, and introductory genetics. Preferred applicants may teach immunology, neurobiology, or vertebrate anatomy. The standard teaching load is 21 credits across fall, January, and spring terms. Teaching experience at the college level. Ability to teach upper-division vertebrate anatomy, immunology, or neurobiology. Ability to teach introductory statistical applications in the biological sciences, especially using the R programming language. Other Details
Term: 9 months. Hiring range: $59,572 to $63,718, commensurate with years of credited service. A 1.75% increase to the minimum salary is granted for each year of credited service at the rank of assistant professor. Review of applications will begin immediately.
