The David L. Walters Department of Music at Jacksonville State University invites applications for an Assistant Professor in Music, French Horn. Primary duties include teaching undergraduate and graduate applied French Horn and conducting the Horn Choir.

Responsibilities
Teach undergraduate and graduate applied French Horn Conduct the Horn Choir
Develop and assess curriculum Engage in recruitment and retention of music majors
Other assignments based on expertise and departmental needs may be assigned
Qualifications
Doctorate or ABD in the discipline is required Strong background in music pedagogy, performance, and curriculum development Active involvement with recruitment and retention of music majors
