Overview
Painter position at Grand Hyatt Vail in Vail, CO. Grand Hyatt Vail is a premium ski-in/ski-out resort located at the base of Vail Mountain, offering guests luxury accommodations and Colorado-inspired dining.
Responsibilities
Perform interior and exterior painting and wallpaper application across guest rooms, public spaces, and back-of-house areas.
Prepare surfaces (scraping, sanding, priming) and apply finishes to achieve high-quality results.
Utilize tile and drywall knowledge where repairs or refinishing are required.
Operate standard painting equipment and tools; follow safety and respirator procedures.
Assist with basic troubleshooting related to facilities (electrical and plumbing) within scope.
Collaborate with hotel operations to maintain timely project completion and guest satisfaction.
Qualifications
Minimum 3 years of painting and wallpaper background.
Tile and drywall knowledge.
Must pass respirator tests; willingness to adhere to safety protocols.
Basic troubleshooting skills (electrical, plumbing, etc.).
Strong attention to detail and teamwork; good communication skills.
Compensation The starting rate for this position is $24.00/hour. Actual pay will be commensurate with experience.
