R&D Engr/Scientist I

You will report directly to our Sr R & D Manager, and you’ll work out of our Spokane Valley, WA location. In this role, you will impact the development of groundbreaking solutions that enhance efficiency and drive innovation within the organization, contributing to Honeywell's commitment to addressing global challenges. Key Responsibilities Conduct research and development activities in line with the organization's goals and objectives. Design and conduct experiments, simulations, and analyses to drive the development of new technologies and products. Collaborate with internal and external partners to leverage collective expertise and resources. Qualifications 6+ years of experience performing research and development projects within a technology or manufacturing environment. Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, Engineering, Physics. Strong background in areas such as materials science, electronics, sensors, controls, or related fields. Proven track record of technical leadership and project management. Experience with software development best practices, design patterns, and architecture principles. Familiarity with technology commercialization processes and intellectual property generation.
