Overview

Bala Cynwyd Middle School is looking for a Lighting Engineer/Designer to mentor the BC Applause Tech Crew. The position is responsible for the set-up, maintenance, and operation of the stage lighting system, spotlights, sound system, microphones, special sound effects, pre-recorded music, and other stage lighting and sound equipment for rehearsals and live performances. The successful applicant will work closely with the Director and other theater staff to provide a clean, safe, productive, and positive environment for all student cast and crew members. Responsibilities

Set up, maintain, and operate stage lighting and sound equipment for rehearsals and live performances Mentor and supervise the BC Applause Tech Crew Collaborate with the Director and theater staff to ensure a safe, productive environment Qualifications

Experience with stage lighting systems and sound equipment Ability to mentor and work with students Strong communication and teamwork skills Application Instructions
