College of Nursing | Center of Population Sciences for Health Empowerment Responsibilities

Build your own research portfolio and collaborate with peer scholars, CPSHE faculty, and professionals at FSU and partnering institutions (e.g., other universities, FDA, SAMHSA, NIH, and community organizations). Be mentored in NIH F32 and/or NIH K01 applications. Collaborate within an interdisciplinary CPSHE Faculty Team spanning Public Health, Psychology, Nursing, Medicine, Statistics, Social Work, and related disciplines on projects addressing health disparity topics and key populations. Engage with topics including, but not limited to, HIV, sexual health, mental health, stigma, healthy aging, cognitive health, cardiometabolic health, digital health, and substance use. Qualifications

Doctorate degree from an accredited institution conferred within the last 5 years. Experience with data collection and study protocols including ethics approvals. Publishing record in peer‑reviewed journals (including co‑authored manuscripts). Ability to work independently and collaboratively; strong time management skills. Comfort with and ability to learn software for word processing, spreadsheets, reference management, and analytic tools. Preferred Qualifications

General preferred skills including language capabilities (Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, Haitian Creole, or Vietnamese). Experience on projects based in the U.S., Panama, Brazil, Vietnam, or neighboring countries. Experience with advanced statistical methods (network analysis, hierarchical modeling, structural equation modeling, genetic analysis). Grant writing experience (pilot, government, or foundation grants). Experience in community-engaged research, including Community-Based Participatory Research. Qualitative methodologies experience (data collection, analysis, dissemination). Mentoring experience with junior scientists; nursing or nursing science background. University Information

Anticipated salary range: $62,656 to $75,564, commensurate with experience. How To Apply
