to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong focus on laminated doughs, bread pastries, and a variety of other baked goods. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and are dedicated to producing high-quality baked items, we want to hear from you! Wage Information:
The hourly rate for this position is between $22.50 - $25.50. Decisions regarding individual wages will be based on a number of factors, such as experience and education. Key Responsibilities: Prepare and bake a variety of pastries, breads, and laminated doughs, including croissants, Danish, and puff pastry. Measure and mix ingredients accurately to create doughs and batters. Follow recipes and adjust based on seasonal ingredients and availability. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to all food safety and sanitation guidelines. Monitor and manage baking times and temperatures to ensure optimal product quality. Collaborate with the team to develop new recipes and improve existing products. Assist in inventory management, including ordering and receiving supplies as needed. Maintain equipment and report any maintenance issues. Ability to work early mornings, starting around 4:00 AM, with flexibility for additional hours as needed. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality. Excellent time management skills and the ability to work under pressure. Team player with strong communication skills.
