Allied Universal®, North America’s leading security and facility services company, is hiring a Part‑Time Security Officer for Armed Healthcare Patrols in Mount Holly, NJ. The role focuses on protecting patients, staff, and visitors while providing exceptional customer service in a healthcare environment.
What You’ll Do
Claim open shifts using the proprietary scheduling platform.
Support security operations across healthcare locations and other commercial sites.
Receive site‑specific training and follow established policies.
Maintain a professional security presence and deliver outstanding customer service.
Respond to incidents calmly, following proper protocols for an armed post.
Responsibilities
Provide customer service to clients and visitors, carrying out security procedures and emergency response activities within a healthcare setting.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, using appropriate armed post protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to detect suspicious behavior.
Maintain detailed logs of security activities, observations, and incidents as required.
Collaborate with healthcare staff and local law enforcement to address security concerns and emergencies.
Remain alert and prepared to use armed intervention when necessary, always adhering to company guidelines.
What We’re Looking For
Availability across various days and shifts.
Reliability and adaptability to different post assignments.
A desire to gain broad experience and grow within Allied Universal.
Interest in transitioning into full‑time roles when available.
Minimum Requirements
At least 2 years of security‑related experience.
Armed Guard Card or License.
Experience with alarm panels preferred.
At least 21 years of age for armed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Background investigation in accordance with federal, state, and local laws.
Drug screen as permitted by law.
Participation in industry‑specific security training programs.
