Contracting Support, Senior
– Salary: $110K - $115K (top salaries for qualified candidates) Overview
Senior Contracting Support Professional for the Engineering, Professional, and Administrative Support Services (EPASS) Contract at Peterson SFB, Colorado Springs, CO. The role supports the Strategic Warning and Surveillance Systems Directorate (SSC/BCK-CO) of the United States Space Force, modernizing missile warning, defense, space domain awareness, and command and control capabilities. Responsibilities
Provide price/cost evaluation support (no negotiation participation). Conduct contract close‑out and administrative support actions. Collect, compile, and analyze data. Prepare and file memorandums and source documents for contract actions. Support clerical/administrative/office operations. Complete and conduct training associated with contract activities. Perform other duties as directed by the Government within EPASS contract constraints. Required Skills and Education
Acquisition Professional Development Program (APDP) Level II Certification in Contracting (or equivalent DAWIA) certification Additional Experience
DoD contracting experience supporting similar requirements in Air Force Space Command/Space Force, Air Force Material Command, or comparable missions. Experience with contract writing systems such as Procurement Desktop (PD2) and CON‑IT. Experience with Federal Procurement Data System (FPDS). Knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR). Education and Experience
Education: High School Diploma Years of Experience: Eight (8) years or more experience in contracting support, data collection, and document preparation,
OR BA/BS degree, 5 years of experience in the respective technical/professional discipline performed, 3 years of which must be in the DoD
OR Advanced Degree (MA/MS), 5 years of experience in the respective technical/professional discipline performed, 3 years of which must be in the DoD. Travel and Security
