Position: Distributor Sales Representative – Outside
The purpose of this role is to sell food products and supplies to food service establishments, aiming to meet and exceed BEK sales goals. Travel to customers’ businesses within assigned territories to ensure proper maintenance of food products and supplies. Compile a list of prospective customers based on research from newspapers, business directories, and other sources for sales leads. Perform daily sales activities to achieve sales performance and goal expectations. Job Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing preferred or equivalent sales experience. At least three (3) years of food service sales experience, particularly selling to restaurants for a major food service distributor. Proficient in computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications such as Word and Excel. Ability to learn and utilize internal applications. Ability to calculate figures related to sales, commissions, discounts, and volume. Valid driver’s license with no more than 3 moving violations in the last 3 years; no DUI convictions within the last 3 years. Ben E.
