We are more than just a Parts Store and are looking for talented individuals to join our NAPA family! As a NAPA

Counter Sales , you are the "face of the retail store" and the go-to person for customers entering our stores for automotive needs. You don’t need to be able to tear down engines (though it’s a plus), but a background in automotive parts is essential. This role offers a great opportunity whether you aim to build a career as a Parts Specialist, work full or part-time, or explore other career paths within our company.

What You Will Be Doing

Providing auto parts solutions to retail and wholesale customers in person and over the phone

Assisting team members with customer questions using your parts knowledge

Delivering outstanding customer care and interactions

Bringing energy and customer focus to our fast-paced stores

Engaging with customers to provide a positive experience

Using technology such as computers, cash registers, telephones, and paper catalogs

Enjoy helping customers with auto parts and service questions

Have gained experience in the automotive industry or through personal vehicle repair and tinkering

Are willing to learn all things automotive, even without prior experience

Want to grow your career within a supportive team environment

What You’ll Need

Valid Driver’s License

Experience in a parts store or automotive industry, or willingness to learn

High School Diploma or GED; technical or trade courses are a plus

Excellent communication skills

Enjoy fast-paced retail environments

Strong listening skills and empathy

Additional Preferred Qualifications

Background or passion for automotive, heavy equipment, farm, diesel, marine, or dealership work

Experience in parts stores, auctions, retail, or auto body/collision

Knowledge of cataloging and inventory management systems

Customer-centric attitude

ASE Certifications (a plus)
