Account Executive As an Account Executive you will drive new business and manage borrower relationships by qualifying leads, presenting tailored lending solutions, and guiding opportunities through the sales cycle to term sheet closure.
What You’ll Do
Position Casa Lending as a lender of choice through value‑based selling and exceptional customer service.
Present and demonstrate the value of products and services to prospective buyers.
Build long‑lasting, mutually beneficial relationships with external contacts and internal departments.
Make calls to prospective borrowers utilizing warm leads generated by the Intake Shop.
Create new opportunities from SQLs or identified targets.
Manage a prospective borrower book, proactively reaching out to ensure opportunity progression to a term sheet, and continuously hunting and closing new business.
Develop a strategic cadence to attract and obtain the business of prospects.
Analyze the database for cold leads and leverage opportunities to contact them again.
Maintain and manage a “hot list” of MQLs/SQLs that are not ready for OSR involvement but represent potential.
Assess the needs of the borrower and discuss present services offered to build value and stimulate interest in Casa Lending.
Schedule follow‑up calls between the potential borrower and the Outside Sales Representative (OSR) as needed.
Utilize CRM solutions for data entry and tracking contact attempts.
Collaborate with the OSR to develop Keep in Touch (KIT) plans for clients and aid in the closing process.
Assist at winning territory‑based business as part of a Territory Sales Manager’s team.
Facilitate assigned or cultivated opportunities reaching a term sheet signature and closing.
Follow up with borrower several times throughout the sales cycle to ensure needs are being met and information required by other departments is obtained.
Coordinate internally with other departments and software systems to ensure appropriate information on borrowers is maintained and accurate.
Creatively work through different scenarios aligned with the borrower needs to develop winning proposals.
Collaborate with Underwriting (UW) to structure new deals.
Negotiate with the borrower to set terms of the deal and obtain verbal commitment.
Create and deliver term sheets for signature from the borrower.
Maintain and work a database of leads, converting those leads into opportunities, and ultimately new business production.
Facilitate term sheet delivery with the Borrower verifying terms and escalating issues with the OSR.
Requirements
2+ years of experience in sales, lending, or a customer‑facing role, preferably in financial services, mortgage lending, or real estate.
Proven experience in lead generation, qualification, and conversion using a CRM platform.
Demonstrated ability to manage a sales pipeline and drive opportunities through the full sales cycle.
Strong understanding of value‑based selling and the ability to effectively communicate product value to borrowers.
Track record of building and maintaining long‑term, trust‑based relationships with clients and internal teams.
Ability to identify client needs, recommend tailored solutions, and close deals efficiently.
Experience collaborating with external sales reps (e.g., OSRs) to support deal progression and closing.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present complex information clearly and persuasively.
Comfortable negotiating deal terms with borrowers and presenting structured proposals.
Proficient in CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.) for data entry, tracking, and managing outreach activity.
Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage a dynamic pipeline and prioritize multiple tasks.
