Clinical Curriculum Coordinator (Multiple Openings) (College of Medicine-Phoenix)

Employed by College of Medicine-Phoenix, this administrator will oversee scheduling and site management of all UACOM-P students rotating through a Banner department. They will support faculty and local administration to facilitate medical student rotations. The successful applicant is essential to operations of the curriculum and is responsible for communication and collaboration with various other departments, faculty, and students at the College of Medicine – Phoenix and Banner University Medical Center – Phoenix. This role serves as the liaison between the campus and numerous clinical sites. This position is responsible for the operational functions of student education in the department, and will contribute to required and elective curriculum, event planning, student scheduling, calendaring, data analysis, and program evaluation aspects of the assigned specialty (ies). Outstanding interpersonal skills, organizational abilities, a collaborative outlook, and superb oral and written communication skills will be critical to successfully administering the outlined expectations. click here . Duties & Responsibilities

Clerkship Coordination & Scheduling Coordinate with faculty to facilitate curriculum and inpatient / outpatient student scheduling for clerkships, sub-internships, electives, selective, and foundational shadowing within the department. Communicate with clinical sites for clinical capacity, student scheduling, and faculty titles. Confirm that students meet all requirements prior to beginning a rotation. Support the scheduling process by working with program coordinators and chief residents to facilitate placement of UME students alongside GME trainees and visiting learners. Operational and Administrative Support Support clerkship directors, site directors, and site coordinators with day-to-day operations related to LCME compliance and curricular initiatives. Maintain and update curriculum in on-line curriculum management (Oasis) and learning management platforms (One45) or other platforms with program leadership. Assessment & Student Progress Tracking Coordinate and administer student quizzes & exams where applicable. Schedule mid-clerkship feedback meetings between students and faculty. Reporting & Quality Improvement Analyze and then organize data to generate reports on educational performance metrics for curricular evaluation and development purposes. Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities

Ability to coordinate and communicate effectively with faculty, students, and clinical partners across multiple sites. Ability to manage sensitive academic information and maintain confidentiality in accordance with institutional policies. Skill in organizing schedules, tracking educational requirements, and managing multiple priorities with attention to detail. Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent advanced learning attained through professional level experience required. Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience, or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
