Overview
SpringHealth Behavioral Health and Integrated Care provides services for children and adults, using positive programming and non-aversive strategies to support individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD), intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD), or mental illness to help them achieve their best overall health and well-being. Our evidence-based programs and therapies are designed to give youth and adults more positive, active, and social lives. We conduct appointments in various locations including residential homes, schools, family homes, workplaces, and other community-based settings. The role involves working with multiple populations including adults and youth. Responsibilities
Conduct ongoing assessments to meet the needs of patients served. Communicate between supervisors, direct care staff, family members, guardians, and collateral individuals regarding an individual’s progress. Provide a monthly schedule to supervisors of appointments, home visits, and observations to monitor work advancement. Coordinate home, work, and/or community-based visits to meet the requirements of observations, chart reviews, staff interviews, and data analysis. Ensure the Behavior Intervention Plan is implemented effectively and properly. Participate in Interdisciplinary Team Meetings and other pertinent meetings as required. Complete monthly and/or quarterly progress notes. Organize training to certify staff and other team members are competent in the implementation of the Behavior Intervention Plan and/or documentation sheets. Provide follow-up interviews, home visits, and observations for continued support of an individual’s needs. Maintain strong clinical records to guarantee information is readily available to interested parties. Act as liaison with the public and mental health community to support development of ongoing goals. Assist in creating procedures for training materials to improve programs for individuals served. Complete continued education on behaviorally based interventions and techniques to stay current in the field. Qualifications
Experience with behavioral intervention and/or strong educational emphasis on learning and developmental psychology. Two or more years of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or behaviorally challenged populations. Must have reliable transportation. Ability to perform physical tasks, including standing for extended periods and moving from seated to standing. State-specific requirements may apply, including BCBA/BCaBA or related credentials as listed for Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Georgia, California, Virginia, and Texas. About Our Line Of Business
