Position Summary Manages all aspects of receiving product to ensure quality, temperature control, processing of invoices, and storage of product in accordance with HACCP program.
Responsibilities
Oversees all incoming product to ensure quality standards and accuracy of orders received.
Inspects product upon arrival to confirm quality and temperature control.
Oversees and maintains proper storage of product in accordance with HACCP.
Manages all invoices and packing slips, ensuring they are processed by office personnel.
Maintains food rotation practices and alerts Receiving Supervisor of upcoming product expiration dates.
Ensures all products are properly scanned before release to production.
Supports production supervisor and performs other duties as directed by management.
Ensures all products are thawed/staged properly based on required quantity, shelf life, and storage requirements.
Works independently.
Provides coverage by assisting with suggested order quantities when necessary.
Directs and ensures accurate inventory cycle counts.
Requirements
High School Diploma or equivalent (Minimum)
Associates degree or above (Preferred)
1-2 years of experience in a food service environment (Minimum)
Experience in forklift operation with certification (Minimum and Preferred)
Knowledge of food safety requirements (Preferred)
Forklift Certification (Required)
Excellent communication skills, ability to work independently, prioritize tasks.
Availability to work Monday through Friday between 4:00 am and 6:00 pm, including weekends as needed.
Physical ability to lift 50 pounds, and perform physical movements as described.
